Just press the button below to start looking. Press the Random Trip button to get a random trip, and press Play to see pictures from those locations. If you want to make your own map, you can Register or join with Google Friens Connect.

How does it work?

For basic usage follow the following steps.

1. Login or join this site with Google Friends Connect. Without logging in you can do almost everything as well, but you can not save it.
2. Drag markers on the map, by clicking the flag-button and dragging the marker on the screen.
3. Press the marker to add some additional information about that location.
4. Save the Trip.

Some additional feautures which are available:

1. Press the help button to see what other options are available.
2. Search other people's trips.
3. Mail your trip to your friends.
4. Press the play button and it will try to get images (from panoramio,flickr or picasa) from that location and show them in a slideshow (Tip : zoom in first).

Some Tips:

1. Planet Roads works best in Firefox and Google Chrome. Google Friends Connect may not work in the old Internet Explorer version 6, if that is the case please try Firefox instead.
2. If your PC is slow you may try the 'slow computer' setting (press the settings button).
3. Big Help buttons are shown when first signed in. This can be turned of in the settings-menu.
